Hello, everyone~!
This is Admin Vampi aka Azuhreidii and if you're reading this, it means :iconworld-of-supermario: is officially open! :D

Given that this also marks the group's first journal/blog entry, let me start it off with the most important:

:bulletred: Submission Guidelines! :bulletred:

:bulletblack: Just like our sister group, we only allow a submission queue of five (5) deviations per day.
:bulletblack: Please submit your art to the correct folder.
:bulletblack: Any artwork/writing/piece submitted to the wrong folder will be declined. We'll be sure to give a reason why, but repeated offenses will no longer warrant an explanation. Sorry, but the rules/guidelines were written for a reason, please actually READ them.
:bulletblack: If you are unsure of which folder your work should be submitted to, please read this guide on gallery folders.

:bulletgreen: What You CAN Submit:
+Super Mario artwork
+Nintendo-related artwork
+Nintendo-related OC's/FC's (non-Nintendo OC's/FC's are still allowed as long as they're with a Nintendo character)
+Fanmade Flash Games (make sure it's somewhat Nintendo-related)
+Shippings (but no heavy smut >:c )
+Fanfics
+Work containing non-Nintendo characters is ALLOWED as long as they have a CLEAR Nintendo reference or a Nintendo character is included.
+Journal entries can be allowed, but they MUST have something to do with Super Mario/Nintendo (e.g. Mario Maker levels, news about an upcoming Legend of Zelda game, etc.) and they must NOT be personal anecdotes.
+Anything else as long as they follow the rules! :dummy:

*This is all until further notice*

:bulletred: What You CANNOT Submit:
-Premium or Watchers-only content. (Not everyone can view that, and it'd be unfair to those who don't.)
-Art that has nothing to do with Super Mario or even Nintendo at all (this is a Super Mario/Nintendo group for a reason, you know :T )
-OC's/FC's unrelated to anything in the Nintendo universe
-Very smutty shipping pieces (Mature content is allowed, but not anything over the top. Please do tag accordingly though.)
-Excessive gore/violence/you get the picture (a little blood may be allowable, though)
-Journal entries that are nothing more than self-promotion or personal anecdotes and rants
-WIP's / Unfinished work
-Stolen work
-NFT's
-AI-generated work
-Traced/Recolored work
-Fetish
-Morally questionable shippings (e.g. ships between canon siblings, none of that "sibling-coded" bs, please)
-Anything containing intolerance/bashing/flaming/hate toward any particular party

*This is all until further notice*

:bulletred: Our Stand on Art Theft and Abuse :bulletred:

:bulletblack: Art Theft
1. Just like our (now-inactive) sister group, we follow the 3-Strike Rule here.
2. If someone is caught submitting stolen work, we will simply decline the work, and warn them not to continue.
3. On the second attempt, we will decline and warn them as usual, but this time inform them that it would be their last chance, as the third strike will get them kicked out.
4. If all else fails, and a third attempt is done, they will be kicked out without question.
5. It may also be possible to ban them from joining again if it seems they are beyond reasonable.

:bulletblack: Abuse Toward Members:
1. In the occurrence of a member abusing/bashing at another member, a warning will be given.
2. If the member in question retaliates, and begins to even bash others, a ban will follow.
3. In the occurrence of a "fight" among members, it is best to know and understand both sides of the argument in order to keep it civil and judge properly who is in the wrong, so proper action will be taken.
4. That said, please do not bring up drama such as dragging a user's cringey posts as an edgy 12-year-old or personal grievances into this. We prefer to judge them based on their conduct within the Group. Whether they were a bad friend or follow unsavory people is irrelevant here.

**That is all until further notice**

:bulletred: What Defines Art Theft in this Group? :bulletred:

- Renders from official Super Mario artwork and even any other Nintendo artwork, (such as profiles from the games) are NO LONGER ALLOWED. While the effort to enhance other grainy images into high-quality versions of the original renders is always appreciated, at the end of the day this is a Group dedicated to fanworks of the Mario/Nintendo franchise(s), and stock images don't fall into original fanworks.
- Bases and art done with them are NOT OKAY. I understand that there exists good art done with bases, but most of the time, there have been many, many bases that were simply traced from other peoples' art and often without their permission, which in itself is art theft.
There are many other groups out there that allow base drawings, so you can check them out~
- Art that was traced from others' art (whether made into a base or not), is NOT OKAY. Even if credit is given or not, it's quite vexing to see art that was a cheap ripoff of someone else's work. This also includes OC's/FC's that are mere recolors (e.g. a green-toned Princess Peach made into an "OC").
? Screenshots are UNDER DEBATE. Depending on the nature of it, it can either be accepted, or declined. I know that some people can be very creative with them (such as those who can convey their ideas through Smash snapshots), but at the same time, there exists bad ones that are just screenshots to show stuff like glitches or achievements, and there's nothing really artistic about that. :hmm:

**That is all until further notice**

:bulletred: Any other concerns that aren't mentioned here, please feel free to ask the group, thank you~ :bulletred:
